The Village of Irma has contracted GFL Environmental as it’s waste removal service provider.
Each Residential Property has one cart that is required for garbage pickup. Your carts have individual serial numbers associated with your address. If your cart is missing or needs repair, please contact the Village office at 780-754-3665.
- Garbage removal is on Fridays
- Recycling (blue bags) is on Thursdays
Please do not over fill your carts (lid must be completely shut or they will not pick them up). Carts must be removed from the roadway within 24 hours of garbage pickup.
Organic waste can be sorted out and residents can take that to the Village transfer station compost pile on Thursday or Saturday free of charge.
