The residents of Irma have donated a wealth of antiques and curiosities to the local museum.
From musical instruments, clothing, documents, personal scrapbooks and business items, the Irma Museum can give visitors a glimpse into the life that the early settlers of Irma enjoyed.
The museum is located at 4940 – 53 Avenue in the former childhood home of internationally renowned Company’s Coming® cookbook author, Jean Paré. This 1928 house along with the 1934 Anglican church forms the centerpiece from which Irma history unfolds in our museum. A recent addition, Jean Pare’s playhouse has also been fixed up as part of the museum and that there is a new building that houses a 300+ lamp collection of Irvin and Doreen Bell’s along with other articles.
